Practical Training. Professional Insight. Maximum Flexibility.
The Fast Track Espresso has been designed for those wishing to attend the renowned CIDBT practical workshops without committing to the full 18-month mentor programme.
Whether you are an experienced canine professional looking to expand your practical skills, or someone passionate about developing their knowledge of dogs through immersive, hands-on learning, Fast Track Espresso offers access to the same high-quality practical workshops delivered by our experienced tutors.
Unlike the full Fast Track Programme, Espresso focuses exclusively on the practical training days. It does not include the written academic assignments, structured mentoring programme, business development modules or the professional membership pathway that form part of the complete qualification.
Instead, delegates benefit from intensive practical learning, direct access to experienced tutors throughout the workshops, and the opportunity to learn alongside like-minded dog professionals and enthusiasts.

Learn from Active Industry Professionals
Your practical workshops are delivered by experienced canine behaviour practitioners who continue to work with clients on a daily basis. This ensures your learning is grounded in current practice, real-life case experience and the challenges faced by today’s canine professionals.
Throughout the programme, you’ll also benefit from the knowledge and expertise of guest specialists in areas including:
- Dog law
- Anatomy and physiology
- Clinical canine behaviour
- Advanced training techniques
- Other specialist areas of canine practice
Drawing on decades of combined experience, our teaching is informed by both practical application and recognised industry standards. In addition, members of the CIDBT teaching faculty contributed to the development of the National Occupational Standards (NOS) in Canine Behaviour and Training with Lantra, helping to shape the professional standards that continue to influence the industry today.
Every practical workshop is personally delivered by Ross McCarthy and Vicky Lawes, whose combined experience spans decades of clinical behaviour work, professional dog training and canine education.
