Real World Dog Training ADOi Classes
Professional Training for Everyday Dogs
Join Ross & Vicky for eight weeks of practical, hands-on training designed to help you develop a calm, confident and well-mannered dog in real-world situations.
Throughout the programme you will learn the essential skills every owner needs, including loose lead walking, reliable recall, calm greetings, settling in public, impulse control and much more.
On Week 8, you’ll have the opportunity to complete the Advanced Dog Ownership Initiative (ADOi) assessment should you wish. Participation in the assessment is entirely optional, you are equally welcome to attend simply to enjoy the training and strengthen the relationship with your dog.

Once you have enrolled, you’ll receive a comprehensive welcome pack containing everything you need to get started, including information about the course, what to bring, and full details of the ADOi assessment for those who choose to take part.
Whether your goal is to achieve the ADOi award or simply enjoy life with a better-trained dog, you’ll receive the same expert tuition, support and encouragement throughout the programme.
Course Aim
The purpose of this eight-week programme is to prepare handlers and their dogs for the ADOi Assessment by developing the practical skills, confidence and reliability required to successfully complete each element of the test.
The course is progressive, with each week’s training building upon the previous session, allowing both dog and handler to develop the knowledge and practical ability needed to work confidently in everyday situations.
Week Eight consists of the full ADOi Assessment.
Training Philosophy
This programme is designed to produce dogs that are not only capable of passing the ADOi Assessment, but are also confident, responsive and enjoyable companions in everyday life.
Training is based on developing clear communication, consistency, confidence and practical real-world skills rather than simply rehearsing individual assessment exercises.
Where appropriate, individual guidance will be provided throughout the programme to help each partnership achieve the required standard.
