Our Fast Track Mentor Programme is designed for people just like you… who either already work with dogs and wish to increase their professional knowledge and practical skills or those who would like to create a new career in the canine behaviour and training profession within a reasonable timeframe.

This eighteen-month programme culminating in not only an immense amount of practical experience and academic knowledge but also an Advanced Higher Certificate in Canine Behaviour and Training (Professional Practice).  The programme is an intensive and thorough training programme to create and develop your professional practice career. On top of that you have 18 months of one-to-one mentorship and advice relating to you, your clients and your business.

We have created this programme by popular demand and access is by successful application only, to develop the very best canine behaviour practitioners and trainers. The job role requires a vast skill set and as such we only take those applicants that have the greatest chance of success covering all sectors.

On completion of this 18-month programme you will not only be proficient in all aspects of dog training and behaviour reformation but you will achieve your Advanced Higher Certificate in Dog Behaviour and Training (Professional Practice).

Included in this programme are monthly zoom sessions and a dedicated online networking group with your (small team of) fellow students and your tutors along with unlimited mentoring and advice for the duration of the programme.

We offer the chance to learn and work with some of the most successful in the industry who continue to work full-time with Clients in addition to partaking in this programme.

Your tutors are carefully selected and they are a part of a large network of canine professionals from whom you can also access support – from dog law to anatomy and physiology and all in between. At CIDBT our canine professionals come from diverse backgrounds covering all aspects of dog behaviour and training.

Internal verification by independent assessors ensures that you achieve your goals and reach the standards required. Our tutors were involved in developing the National Occupational Standards (NOS) in Canine Behaviour & Training with Lantra so you can be sure that your experience with us will be second to none.

This programme includes 3 residential sessions at the Kennel Club building in Warwickshire, each running for a 4 day period so 12 full days of practical training in addition to the Zoom workshops – guided home study elements and telephone / zoom mentorship.
