Clinical Canine Behaviour Practitioner & Trainer

Course Info

This programme is predominantly home study, although Learners will complete a series of Practical Training days to develop the skills required to undertake employment within the area of canine behaviour management.

Learners will also develop a deeper understanding of consulting and canine behaviour management. Learners will understand the research methods used in canine behaviour management and participate in a form of research study.

The minimum age for access to this qualification is 18 years of age.

• Canine Cognition and Consciousness
• Canine Development
• Canine Health and Behaviour Patterns
• Consulting and Canine Behaviour Management
• Human Canine Bond
• Nature Versus Nurture
• Practical Canine Behaviour Training
• Research Methods in Canine Behaviour Management
• The Language of Dogs

Portfolio of Evidence and Practical Demonstration/Assignment. This course will include written home study and practical workshops, all workshops are mandatory.

• Qualification Number: coming April 2024
• Level: 5
• Credit Value: 49 credits
• Guided Learning Hours: 378 hours
• Total Qualification Time: 490 hours

Currently this Qualification part of this programme is unavailable – Fast Track programme is still running as normal.  Level 5 Qualification will be availabe for April 2024 intake.
