Over three days we will discover the fascinating world of dog behaviour problems from the Canine Behaviour Practitioners perspective.

To include:

  • Understanding the consultation process from start to finish, for safety and to maximise success with client, to include our ‘CIDBT5010 The Professional Canine Behaviourist’.
  • Canine body language, a deeper look.
  • The truth about socialisation and habituation.
  • Most common problems and how they arise, are assessed and resolved, to include:

Separation anxiety / destructive behaviour / jumping up / extremes of toilet training /  excessive mouthing / play-biting / excess barking / hyper-activity / phobias / car sickness / tail chasing-OCD, as well as training issues presented to a behaviourist such as pulling on lead and recall, and much, much more.

  • Assessing and addressing the family dynamics and the environment in relation to canine behaviour problems presented.
  • Equipment for the Canine Behaviour Practitioner and the all important ‘practitioners case’.

This is a dynamic course, led primarily by film case studies and facilitated by two full-time Canine Behaviour Practitioners and Trainers.

In usual CIDBT style, our minds are open to discussions in a safe and supported environment where all opinions are respected, discussed and valued.

Upon successful completion you will receive the CIDBT Higher Certificate in ‘Canine Behaviour Studies for Professionals’
